David has worked in the engineering field since 1998. He first started working with BellSouth Co. Utility. David was in charge of Gulf Breeze and Navarre in Northwest Florida designing fiber optic infrastructure from the utility central offices through to the remote terminal cabinets serving the many commercial and residential establishments throughout the area. Once leaving the local utility and moving to private consulting, David started designing LAN network infrastructure for many schools and commercial developments. Many of the school LAN designs were retrofit projects designed to bring the schools up to the 21st century technology. Along with a strong communications background, David is an experienced power engineer dealing with all types of projects including: Condominiums/Apartments, Educational Facilities, Retail, Health Care Facilities, and Commercial Buildings. David's primary duties as a principal of DB&Y include LAN design, interior and exterior power distribution, interior and exterior lighting, fire alarm system design, and intercom system design.

Quinn Yates, PE - BSEE University of Florida

Quinn has worked in the consulting field since 1992 which started with Philip R. Jones before quickly moving on to work with other local consulting engineers. While working in the private consulting field, he was exposed to a tremendous amount of commercial and residential experience. Quinn was lead engineer in many multi-million dollar projects for the government, school districts, and private commercial companies. Quinn has also has been lead engineer on many multi-million dollar design build projects and has a vast amount of experience in Condominiums/Apartments, Churches, Educational Facilities, Auditoriums, Call Centers, Health Care Facilities, Warehouses, and Large Commercial Buildings. Quinn's primary duties as a principal of DB&Y include interior and exterior power distribution, interior and exterior lighting, and fire alarm system design.
